Frequently Asked Questions

QuestCare Services

What services does QuestCare provide?

QuestCare provides support services to people who are frail aged or disabled or any member of the public who needs support due to an injury, illness or other circumstance.  We are also happy to discuss any other needs you may have.

Who can use QuestCare services?

Anyone. We provide care and support staff to individuals as well as organisations. We can provide a once-off service, or regular staffing.

Is there a minimum shift length?

No, although it is difficult to find staff for a shift less than one hour. We can stay for less then that if you need, every shift is worked out on a case by case basis.

How much does it cost?

The cost varies depending on the funding type, day and the type of shift. You can contact the office for a quote.

What times are staff available?

Our staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our staff can do both night shifts and 'sleepovers' (where the staff member is asleep, but is available in case help is needed during the night).

I need a support worker today. Is that enough notice?

Yes, we can provide same-day service. We prefer at least two hours notice, however we are also happy to fill ASAP services, providing there are staff available.

What areas do you provide service to?

We can provide staff to anywhere in the ACT. We also service the surrounding regions, such as Queanbeyan. If you are unsure if we service your area, you can call or email the office to check.

Are you able to provide transport?

Yes, our staff often transport clients to doctors appointments, activities or on shopping errands and the like. All staff hold an Australian drivers licence, and can either use a provided vehicle or their own vehicle (provided it is suitable for the client). If staff are required to use their own vehicle, a mileage fee will apply.
